I recently finished reading “Build” by Tony Fadell. It’s funny how the right book at the right time helps pieces you’ve been carrying around in your head click into place.
Here are some of those clicks for me:
- Be intentional in designing the cadence and interactions within your company, it’s so much more than the org chart
- It can be “good enough” to get started but settling for “good enough” doesn’t help you win over the long term
- Not everyone carries the same high bar that you do, be clear in your expectations and unapologetically hold people accountable
This is one of those books that I’ll definitely revisit to glean more insights and perspective.
