“You’re exactly where you need to be.”
Shawn Martens said these words to me a few weeks back and they were incredibly heartening, especially as I look back on what was happening at the time.
It’s easy in challenging moments to cast your gaze elsewhere and muse, “It’d be better over there.” The truth is you’d be robbing yourself of an amazing opportunity to learn, grow, and chart a path to success.
So the next time you’re struggling, pause. Look around. Recognize that you’re exactly where you need to be. And then get after it.
