It’s Christmas time and that means I get to once again enjoy my (favourite) advent calendar – the Whisky Advent Calendar! Each day I’ll update the post with the tasting notes of that day’s whisky.
Two years since the last whisky advent calendar – I drank a lot of good scotch in 2020, just none of it coming from a calendar in December. This year I decided I’d explore Kensington Wine Market’s Whisky Advent Calendar and will post my tasting notes of each day’s dram here. I’m ready (and I hope you are too) so let’s go!
Since the beginning of the pandemic, I’ve had a bit more time – okay, a lot more time – to acquire and sample scotch. This tasting of five different whiskies happened over two days separated by four months. Certainly a far cry from the regular way of doing things but, these days, things are anything but regular.
